Devonshires Building Safety Toolkit

I am delighted to launch our new cross practice toolkit, an interactive online product which is designed to help our clients out of the starting blocks, as the next wave of building safety secondary legislation goes live on Sunday, 1st October 2023.

Within an 18 month period, the UK Government has published legislation and explanatory memorandum that represent a generation of change - and there is more to come.

Our Toolkit, curated by our legal experts at Devonshires will help our clients to comply with the new requirements and provide strategies that will necessitate changes in business culture, and includes new practices, procedures, and policies – as well as a review of contractual arrangements.

The new regulatory environment introduce far reaching changes across the construction and residential property markets and introduces wide ranging duties and obligations for all projects, not just higher risk buildings.

We are at the start of a new journey. As the market’s understanding of the new framework evolves, so will our toolkit.
