We're delighted to have strengthened our Real Estate and Projects team with two new Partner hires. Taking our total number of Partners to 63.
Leo Stevens and Ben Halsey both join Devonshires from Sharratts. They are specialist housing development Solicitors and will be joining the 58-strong team headed up by Jonathan Corris and Triya Maicha.
Ben and Leo both act for registered providers, both not-for-profit and for-profit, on a wide variety of work arising principally from a property and development perspective, including disposal and acquisition, finance/security, planning and infrastructure projects.
Leo has also acted for a major private housebuilder on numerous affordable housing disposals to registered providers in recent years including on a number of joint ventures. Leo also has experience in shared ownership disposals.
Ben has advised providers and investors in relation to investment in rented and shared ownership housing portfolios, stock transfer and similar ‘exit’ transactions involving the disposal of newly delivered stock.
The new hires, who will be based in Devonshires’ London office, are the latest stage in an exciting expansion at the firm. Earlier this month 11 lawyers were promoted to Partner and Mark London became senior Partner, taking over from Philip Barden.
