We are delighted to have acted for Bromford Housing Group on a new £75 million sustainability linked loan with HSBC. The loan, alongside Bromford’s other recent facility agreements, is the first in the sector linked to reducing Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. It is also believed to be the first time in the sector that sustainability linked loan has featured a KPI linked to repairs performance.
Rachel Orgill-Harris, Partner in our Banking, Governance and Corporate team said “It was a pleasure to support Bromford on this new funding which will support the development of much needed new homes as well as funding Bromford’s sustainability ambitions”.
The deal was led by Rachel Orgill-Harris, working alongside Julian Barker, Partner and Michelle Pascua, a Solicitor in the team.
