Building Safety Act 2022: Devonshires' Flagship Conference Returns

Following last year’s success, we are delighted to announce the return of our flagship conference on the Building Safety Act 2022. The event will take place on Wednesday, 25 September 2024 at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

The Building Safety Act 2022 and its reams of associated regulations has made a wholesale and instantaneous impact on all corners of building safety. Yet the scale of the regime change is only just starting to be felt.

Back by popular demand, this year’s conference focuses on the legal landscape and the practical impact the Act has had on your organisations.

Following last year’s programme, this whole day event will include a wide variety of breakout sessions which will help delegates understand all corners of the Building Safety Act and its impact so far. Our team of leading practitioners will be on hand to discuss what might also be on the horizon.

We will be joined by various leading experts in the sector; including construction consultants, architects, surveyors, resident engagement experts and a tribunal judge!

We are also delighted to welcome Dame Judith Hackitt as our keynote speaker. Dame Hackitt needs no introduction when it comes to building safety, having chaired the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, where much of the Building Safety Act derives from.

This conference is free and aimed at helping Accountable Persons, Principal Accountable Persons, landlords, building managers and owners who need an understanding of building and fire safety law.

The programme is now live and you can register your place for the event - register now. We look forward to seeing you there… even if just for the spectacular views across London.
