Ardmore Construction Limited enters administration

Public court records confirm that Ardmore Construction Limited (ACL) filed a formal notice of appointment of administrators yesterday, 28 August 2025.

The appointment took effect and ACL entered administration on the filing of the notice with the court. Employers, consultants and suppliers working with ACL should immediately consider the implications for their activities and, where required, take legal advice.

ACL was founded in 1974 and forms part of the Ardmore Group. It is the latest in a long series of high-profile contractors to enter a formal insolvency process. ACL's latest filed accounts, for the year ending September 2023, showed turnover of £313m and current creditors of £55m.
