Renters’ Rights Act Receives Royal Assent

The Renters’ Rights Bill officially received Royal Assent on 27 October 2025, marking its formal passage into law. 

Although the Act is now law, its provisions will not come into force immediately. The Government will introduce commencement legislation to activate the various parts of the Act.
