Building Safety Act 2022: Devonshires' Flagship Conference

We are delighted to announce our conference on the Building Safety Act, a flagship event from Devonshires which will take place on Monday 30 October 2023.

Following what can only be described as a seismic shift in public policy (following the Hackitt review, the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and numerous government consultations) the Building Safety Act, along with its reams of associated regulations, will impact all corners of tall building ownership and management.

The Act brings with it one of the biggest shifts in legal landscapes for decades and while it has been on the statute books for a little over a year, the practical impact is only just beginning with the looming deadline for registration of all higher risk buildings come early October.

With a keynote address and over twelve breakout sessions, this whole day flagship event will see something for everyone - helping delegates to learn how the new legal framework will impact them and their organisations.

Speakers from Devonshires will be joined by leading experts in the sector; Andrew Mellor, Partner at PRP Architects, Nicholas Grundy KC, Barrister at Five Paper and Victoria Moffett, Head of Building and Fire Safety Programmes at the National Housing Federation.

This conference is free and aimed at helping Accountable Persons, Principal Accountable Persons, landlords, building managers and owners who need an understanding of building and fire safety law.
